“The Convention was Drama, the Trial was Comedy”
In 1968, a group of protestors got together to protest the Vietnam War where their actions led to their arrest and trial. Chicago 10 examines the demonstrations at the 1968 Democratic Convention and their eruption into rioting in the wake of police provocation, while incorporating archived newsreel footage along with animation to recreate scenes from the trial.
